Days of Decay is a third-person survival RPG, in which players can control a man with amnesia, who wakes up half-naked and in the middle of nowhere. Our first goal will be to get something warm and food, otherwise we will soon begin to notice the effects of cold and hunger.
With the left thumb we can control the movement of our character, to which we can move freely through the scenarios. Meanwhile, with the right thumb, we can interact with all the elements we see on the stage, activate the stealth mode, and attack. Our character will be able to collect objects from the ground, cut down trees, chop stones, etc. You can also build all kinds of tools, such as axes, picks, shovels, torches or picks.
One of the most important aspects of Days of Decay is, precisely, to collect resources and create all kinds of objects. From nature we can obtain wood, hemp, stone, iron, meat, vegetables, et cetera. All these elements will allow us to build tools, but they will also give us the possibility of building a shelter, building doors, walls, floors, traps and much more. We will even have to build a bed or a water tank, so that our character can sleep and hydrate.
As it happens in other games of similar cut, the scenes in Days of Decay are connected to each other through a huge map. Traveling to each region of the map will cost us a few energy points, but this is the only way to discover some of the most interesting places in the game. This way we can find secret military bases, abandoned cities, and much more. And of course, in each region we can find some types of resources exclusive to that area.
Days of Decay is an excellent survival RPG, which manages to improve the already outstanding formula of Last Day on Earth, offering a similar game experience, but with an even better graphic section.
