Darkest Rogue is a fun action RPG with a very interesting premise. As in any good dungeon game, our objective will be to explore all kinds of dungeons, defeat all kinds of creatures and recover all kinds of magic items, although with an interesting twist: the only way to control our protagonist will be by throwing him at through the corridors to bounce off the walls of the rooms in true Air Hockey style.
The mechanics of Darkest Rogue are very simple: by pressing the finger on the screen and dragging it backwards, we can configure both the force and the launch angle. Once everything is ready, it will be enough to separate our finger from the interface so that our protagonist shoots off bouncing against enemies, objects and obstacles. Each hit that we manage to land successfully will subtract a number of life points, an amount that will increase considerably if we manage to land a second hit within the same throw.
During our action, the rest of the creatures in the level will remain totally static. Once we have finished our movement, they will attack us one by one until we recover the turn.
Throughout our game we will find scrolls that will allow us to increase the characteristics of our hero and merchants in which we can invest our profits in exchange for new and better weapons, spells or passive abilities.
