Blade of God is an action game in three dimensions openly inspired by the God of War saga, in which we will control a mysterious character armed with a scythe. Our goal will be to advance through a scenario full of monsters, ending all of them in a brutal way.
The control system of Blade of God is the usual one of the genre. In the left part of the screen we will have the virtual ‘stick’ of movement, while in the right part we will have all the action buttons, including the basic attack and the three special attacks. Sometimes, we will also have here the button to start a ‘finisher’, a special attack in which we can see how our protagonist ends up in the most cruel way possible with his enemy.
This version of the game is a test, so we can only play at the first level. That said, throughout this first phase we will be able to face two giant ‘bosses’, who will test our ability with the scythe. We can also see the faces with several normal enemies, as well as with the odd barrier that will block our path (and we will have to destroy). All in a demonic environment that seems to be taken from the Diablo saga.
Blade of God is an action game with a brutal aspect, reminiscent of great titles like God of War or Devil May Cry. The controls of the game, in addition, are precise and are very well adapted to tactile devices, something very important in a game of these characteristics.
