To shoot like a pro: Sony releases series of videos detailing Pro mode of the Xperia 1 II

The Xperia 1 II is Sony’s latest flagship, with media production and consumption as its main highlights. As its name indicates, this would be the first time that the company uses its photography expertise, seen in the Alpha line of cameras, on its cell phones. With that, the smartphone offers a professional mode of photography, similar to the video capture mode available in Xperia 1.

Aiming to make the mode accessible to more users, the Japanese manufacturer today released a series of videos explaining the multiple functions available with the camera application. With six chapters, those interested will be able to learn more about the focus, exposure, and even the P Auto and S Mode modes, the first being suitable for photographing animals and children due to constant movement, while the second allows adjusting the speed of the shutter. You can check the first chapter of the series below:

The Sony Xperia 1 II comes equipped with Snapdragon 865 processor, 6.5 “21: 9 OLED screen with 4K resolution and Motion Blur Reduction technology, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 8MP front camera, set of four rear lenses from Zeiss with 12MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP telephoto and ToF for depth, 4,000mAh battery and Android 10.

Still unavailable for purchase, the device came to be seen yesterday at B&H’s virtual store, costing US $ 1,198 (about R $ 6,653), a very high price especially considering its current situation in the market, with the ad being taken down shortly after. The company revealed its future plans for the mobile division in an interview with the AV Watch website, confirming that there have been management problems in recent years.
