The functions in question would be related to Google Meet and Google Tasks. The company must enable the possibility to chat with contacts, define tasks, and even make video calls directly from Gmail if the user is a G Suite subscriber. The initiative is expected to be part of the company’s tests of launching a unified business messaging app, revealed by rumors released in January.
The update with the resources will be large and will weigh just over 50MB, practically twice as much as the application itself, which indicates that the integration should not be just a link to external applications, but something inserted so that tasks are done only through from Gmail.
It is not yet known how the news will work, or when they will be made available, but considering that its implementation is already being done, it should not be long before we have more news.

Another Google service that also had its code analyzed was the Duo. It was discovered that the company’s video calling application should receive group invitations through links, probably as a measure to help those who adhered to the practice of the home office.
